A woman's boot

That's what my beloved English teacher told us. That the country looks just like a woman's boot. I've less than 48 hours before departing. I would like to think that I've finished packing while in fact I don't. With the crazy weather over there, as warm as 30 in noon and as cold as 15 or below in early morning & at night, I really have no idea how to pack for the trip. Anyway I shouldn't underestimate mother nature because...

At Hokkaido, 2009, God knows how bad I shivered under my coat.
I'ld have wrapped myself up like a Chinese Zongzi.

Long Weekend

Eat.Zone Out.Be Happy
Summary of the past long weekend holiday.
Yes Mid Autumn Festival is a public holiday here.
Having a Monday off while the rest of the world work, is great.
We had BBQ on Saturday. Buffet dinner on Sunday. World-renowed Din Tai Fung Xiao Long Bao on Monday. We shared some quality time with the rest of the family. Took a stroll around this lake called the 梅花湖 which is said to be in the shape of a plum blossom. Then we headed to this restaurant which is said to serve nice & cheap buffet. The man sitting next to our table resembles my own father. I miss him. And my mum of course.

Happy

At the quieter side of the lake.

Fun facts:

Something worth the wait

I love receiving parcels!
Talk bout the joys of online shopping. Nothing beats eagerly anticipating parcels in the post and ripping apart the wrapping bag and bubblewrap. Of course I can't deny the fact that sometimes dissapointment awaits. You hate the items purchased and you have to secretly hide it at the darkest corner of your closet just so hubby won't discover it. But not this time. I am really happy with my latest purchase.

Meet my latest love. Flew all the way from the land of kimchi.
